Lights – Camera – Action… Yes, there has actually been some action this week. Sorry I went AWOL last week – my grandson was in for major surgery last Wednesday, and I knew I would not have the energy or concentration levels to visit you all. The good news is he is doing well, and is coming out of hospital today (Tuesday). So my desk is looking a bit busy.. I made my son in law a birthday card this morning (needless to say, not photographed yet), and have made a few Christmas cards.

So, the usual sort of clutter on my desk… a pile of Christmas papers, cutting boards for the Big shot, a nice neat (but currently very small!) pile of Christmas cards, etc. Hopefully, now Nathan is home I will feel more like concentrating on things I need to do. And there’s the crop to prepare for… ooo, goodie! So, one of the Christmas cards…

Simple, layered, easy to mail… you know the sort of thing. Of course, I still had to fill my time somehow, even if my concentration was shot… so…

I have continued to sort through John’s study, and have finally achieved a completely empty room. All ready now for decorating! Yay!

Yes, that is a bit of bare plaster you see before your eyes! We moved a wall when we first moved in – a mere 10 1/2 years ago – stuck a filing cabinet in front of it, and completely forgot to paint it. OOPS!
So that’s me done this week, folks. I look forward to seeing those coming to the crop a week on Saturday. It will be great to meet up again.
Take care of yourselves. God bless you.
Margaret
Morning Margaret! glad your grandson is doing well. Good luck with the decorating of John’s study. I’ve not even thought about starting Christmas cards yet – well I’ve mentioned to a couple of people that I must start!! See you at the Crop. Helen #2
So glad to hear your grandson is home and doing well Margaret. Can’t wait to see the decorated version of the study – well done for all that sorting and emptying. See you at the crop. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1
Hi Margaret , Sounds like you’ve had a busy week and pleased to hear your grandson is making good progress. Looks like you’ve made up for the distraction since. Wishing you a very happy and productive woyww, Angela x9x
From one who has just spent the better part of a month cleaning and sorting, then shifting stuff for windows to be installed, then cleaning, then shifting it all back, I feel you pain. My pain is literal I’m afraid, so I’ll be brief. Lovely card, hope the surgery went well, and good luck with the decorating!
Happy WOYWW from my bed with a bad back. Ugh!

Yep, as it approaches, I’m looking forward to Crop too, it will be great to see you. So glad that Nathan continues to do well, such a relief. Meanwhile, that restless energy of worry has been productive for you, the study clearance is impressive. Bare plaster…sort of thing that happens here too, and I did a double take because for a minute I thought you had a very small doorway!! As for a Christmas cards, we’ll, I don’t think that’s a small pile at all!
Do hope Nathan continues to improve and is soon back to full health. Can understand your not being able to concentrate on anything.
Love the jigsaw I always wanted a holiday in a caravan like that – back to my dreams of being a hippie and flower power I guess.
I am envious of the small pile of Christmas Cards you have done, I really should get my act together.
God Bless, Neet 3 xx (in the library but not with Professor Plum)
Another busy day for me but work is now done and I can pop round to see all my fav blogs.
Really glad your grandson’s surgery went well. Looking forward to seeing you at the crop.
Hugs,

Lovely Christmas card and jigsaw. Was the verse a stamp? It is a lovely verse. Wishing you grandson a speedy recovery. Happy WOYWW. Angela #18
I’m so sorry to hear that Nathan has been in surgery, and am relieved that he’s home and doing well – he’s had to go through such a lot in his short life. I’d have been on pins too, doing sorting and jigsaws sound a good way of keeping your hands busy.
I won’t be around for the next couple of weeks, see you soon!
