Hello my friends. I really thought I had cooked my goose yesterday and wouldn’t get here today. I finally plucked up the courage to move the computer from the study ready for the decorating… and yes, you’ve guessed it! Internet wouldn’t work in its new position! Took me a long time, but finally, late last night, perseverance paid off – and so here I am! Things have moved on somewhat from last week… and my landing craft space now looks like this!

Vastly different from the original. I spent hours emptying and sorting the whole space. Anything I hadn’t used for the past 10 years or so was given away. The local infant school came in for lots, Camilla ended up with lots of bits, the charity shop has lots to sell. Whoop, whoop. Win, win. I now have space to move. I’m pleased with those large boxes acting as a book case at the end of the room instead of underneath the desks. MUCH easier to get at now my old knees don’t want to kneel on the floor!. What’s more… shh!!!… I can now easily get into the eaves space at this end of the landing where I keep Christmas!
So, still no positive craft activity going on up there. The study is almost completely empty now – just the printer and the scanner to move, and then the last desk to lift out. David can then come in whenever he is ready. Exciting.
Many thanks for all your visits and comments last week. It was lovely to feel connected again after a VERY long absence. Thanks BJ for the thoughts re selling vinyl. I will talk to one of my sons in law.
Well, that’s me done this week. Take care of yourselves. God bless.
Margaret
You certainly look very neat and organised in your new space on the landing.
I have toyed with the idea of sorting y stuff out and giving lots of it away that I no longer use but the other week `I made a new journal and decided to use my Rollabind to hold the pages together. Now that is a contraption I have not used in years and could have gladly given away a long time ago – glad now I didn’t. So now I am afraid if I give some things away I will regret it.
I have given a young friend who has come back to stamping lots of my stuff but there still is an awful lot left. Maybe one day I will do it.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
Hope my comment published – it seemed to go rather quickly.
Hugs & Blessings, Neet xx
What a great job you’ve done, the craft area looks great! So neat and tidy and ready for action and lots of groups and charities have benefitted too – better they have it than languishing in your drawers. Well done on moving the computer etc, I am full of admiration for you and very glad that it’s working ok again! Re the Nigel, I know there’s dealers who’ll come and take the lot lot away but whether there’s any in your area is the question.

It is so frustrating when technology doesn’t work – and it’s amazing how often that happens! Well done on the sort out and the getting rid! I have done a little of that myself and proceed to do more. Happy WOYWW. Angela #16
Glad you’ve enjoyed your clear out Margaret and that the IT gremlins didn’t beat you.

Wow what a difference a week makes Margaret. Loving your new thinned out crafting space. Glad you managed to get the internet to work so you could join in. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
Your crafty space looks wonderful. I really do need to have a big sort out here too. xx Jo
Your craft area looks brilliant! I need to do some decluttering before our move to the new house even though we got rid of so much before the move from England.
Happy WOYWW! Susan #7
Love your landing craft space it’s great to change things a bit when you move back into a space. Been doing that in the lounge as the Sofas, chair & footstool finally came, and so much better for our ageing backs. Very sad about our Queen passing though, what a time. BJ#5
