Well, good morning my friends. Is it really a whole week already since we last met? How quickly it has gone. I don’t even have a desk shot for you this week as it looks so similar to the last one – not that it hasn’t seen any activity – it has! 30 more Christmas cards, a birthday card, and a “sorry you are leaving” card. Who would believe that the boxed pack of Thomas Kinkade images and papers could produce 30 completely different cards? I was amazed and delighted that the same image looked so very different when matted and layered with differing papers. Brilliant – I have made huge inroads into my stash of Christmas papers! So, my picture this week is of my Christmas box – nearly full – piled high with the cards ready to be written…

The box stands around 8 inches tall, so when it is full I know I have sufficient cards for the year. Yay! Nearly there.
So that’s me really this week folks. Short and hopefully sweet. I have a slow cooker casserole to prepare – we are trying something new for step inside this week to see if it is popular. As well as the soup we will have Beef casserole! Yummy. Then I’m off to see Mr and Mrs D then moving down to my daughter to stay with her and her family for a few days – so I shall be missing next week – but all being well I shall see you in a fortnight.
Take care. God bless.
Margaret
That’s a great pile of cards all ready.. the Thomas Kinkade images are fab (always loved them turned into jigsaws) well done! Enjoy the visit with Mr and Mrs D and your daughter. Helen #1

P.S No ride on the Carousel for me.. it looks much better without me on it :))
Well done on making all those cards Margaret, I remember when you stayed with me and showed me some techniques what a speedy crafter you are! Have fun with Mrs D and then your daughter, you must have had itchy feet since you got back from your gap year, lol!!

I’m going to be on the order counter at Step Inside tomorrow – I hope there’ll be some of that casserole left for my lunch! And well done on your Chrimbo cards; this time last year mine were all done and dusted waiting for the right time to post them. This year all I’ve done so far is punched out a handful of Chrimbo tree shapes!
Well done you are an inspiration in card making. I am up to my second card. haha. Have a lovely week.

What a fantastic pile of cards – you really have been busy – I wish I knew why it takes me a week to make two tags, and most of that is sitting and thinking about it!!
Have a great week and enjoy all your visiting,

Your 30 Christmas AND a birthday cards make my two look pretty poor! Well done Margaret.
Quite an achievement being nearly done with your Christmas cards considered you’ve wandered around for good part of the year.
Casserole slow cook beef is the best IMHO. Well done there as well!
Do give Mrs D a hug for me too!.
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #10

What a great accomplishment! I haven’t really started on personal Christmas cards yet, just those for upcoming class samples.
Thanks for popping by and have a wonderful week!

HI Margaret, ooh that is a smart idea to use one container for those cards to see. even though I work on Christmas off and on all year I tend to have a bunch of them go to the booth and then I end up making my ones I am mailing out later after Thanksgiving almost always. I do save some of the special ones that will fit one person or another and set them aside but, for the most part it still seems to be an last minute thing for me. ~Stacy #24
Well done with all the Christmas cards, I haven’t started mine yet! Actually I did open the Christcraft boxes to remind myself what I have in them x God Bless x
Oh wow Margaret, all those cards. You look well organised for Christmas already. Hope you’ve had a very happy woyww, Angela x11x
Happy Belated WOYWW. Thank you for your visit yesterday. This will be the 3rd year that I am not planning to make many Christmas cards. I might do some digital designs for close family. Enjoy your time away. Ali x #20
Wow Margaret, 30 cards done this week and now nearly a full house for Christmas. Didn’t realise it was so close – need to get on with mine.
Glad to see you are off on your travels again – remember me to Chris and Adrian and enjoy your stay and then with your daughter.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
ps
It wasn’t the ink that caused the dye to come out of my jeans. It is the jeans – this has happened before with another pair. Unfortunately I had already bought two pair when it first happened and then it was something and nothing I wiped off. My friend had the same thing happen with hers.
wow thats a great amount of cards to get from a kit, well done.
thanks for visiting my desk already
