WOYWW521 – After the celebration

Seemingly not a lot going on here! Hello my friends. Well, what a celebration last week. I managed to get round everyone, and leave comments for all except Kathryn – sorry, I don’t do Instagram, Facebook, or any of the other social media – but I did come peek.

My desk this week shows the aftermath of making 30 ATCs, bagging them, putting them in cards and envelopes – and… see the box at the top of the stairs, waiting to go down? Well, there they are, all ready for the crop on Saturday! Actually ON the desk is my Pergamano box, ready to take away next week – erm, yes!! I’m off again on my travels! Quainton in Buckinghamshire to see my grandies A level and GCSE art exhibition, then Nottingham to pick up the caravan, then up to Cumbria, Northumberland and North Yorkshire – so I’ll be MIA for some time. Yes, I’ll have my camera with me.

Sitting on the stool near the top of the stairs is the CD player – not even plugged in since I got back, but ready to go again! And, to be honest, that’s about it! I have a birthday card and an anniversary card to make before the weekend – but otherwise no commitments.

So there you have me folks. Here in a gloriously sunny North Wales, I’m preparing for Mr and Mrs D and Helen to arrive on Friday ready to all drive together down to Shrewsbury for the crop, preparing again to travel with our family caravan, and trying to ensure I have everything necessary done before going away.

See you when I get back!!

Take care. God bless.

Margaret

  2. I just love how your blog gives us such huge photos. It is so easy to look at your desk and enjoy what we see. Thank you for changing hour blog to this one.
How exciting going seeing the art exhibitions. Takes me back to when I used to be an examiner and travelled around the schools for the art exhibitions – such talent was on hand and some of the work was amazing. Hard to believe it had been done by teenagers in those days. Guess it is even more amazing now with the technology they no doubt use. Looking forward to seeing photos – lots please.
    See you Saturday, take are

  7. First, I’m glad to read I’m not the only blogger who doesn’t do other social media sites. It’s good that you are headed to the crop, so I hope we get to see photos before you head off across country again.

I always like seeing your bright space, so this was rather different, especially with that box ready to head down the stairs. Happy WOYWW from #1.

  15. Hi Margaret, love how bright and spacious your craft area is. Mine is big enough, it just looks dark and gloomy half the time.
