Hello my friends. Another Wednesday, already almost halfway through March! Where is the time going? You are here to see my desk – which I have to say, has seen quite a lot of action this week.

Right in the centre there’s my cutting mat with scrap paper on top, for practising stamping. I see two pairs of scissors and two pairs of glasses – must be learning from Julia – an empty hot chocolate mug, low tack tape, DST, a little pot of water, a gold card – several of my friends are celebrating their golden wedding anniversaries in the next few weeks, so I’m setting to! – a pile of finished cards ready for the hotel, some papers from the Country Diary freebie with one of this month’s magazines, and over to the left some pergamano bits – can’t show that card!! There’s also the usual detritus of glue, baby wipe, pencil sharpener, foam pads for inks, and my daylight lamp – which has been on all day today (Tuesday) as the weather has been so bad here. As I write this at 11.30 at night, the wind is howling around the bungalow – I’m just glad I’m indoors.

So that’s me this week folks. My jumper continues apace – the back is finished, and this evening I have finished the front and started on the first sleeve. I’m pleased – it’s looking good.

It will take me a while to get round to everyone this week – no, I’m not gadding about – just doing the worship prep as I am leading on Sunday – so it’s out with the song folders again.

Take care my friends. Thank you so much for the encouraging comments last week. God bless.

Margaret

  1. you always have an impressive display of cards, love the black/gold 50th card! Have a good week (I seem to either be at work, or at Kew. I know which is most enjoyable!( Helen #4

  2. We’ve had high winds here too, kept me up the night before last worrying something would come flying through the window, all seems a lot quieter today. You’ll be needing that jumper if the temperature keeps getting lower. How lovely to be celebrating all those 50th Wedding Anniversaries. Hope you get some time to share in with the celebrations.
Wishing you a blessed week & Happy WoywW Tracey #7

  3. What a busy, interesting desk! All the best for Sunday, Margaret – I’m also leading our Morning Prayer service – need to gen up ont St Patrick for the sermon…
    Happy WOYWW 🙂

  4. Happy WOYWW and congratulations for the No.1 spot. Lots to see on your desk. I was tempted by a magazine yesterday with lovely V&A papers, but was strong and left it in the store. My craft room/office is still too full – and I will be having another big clearout this week. Ali x #9

  5. Hi Margaret no 1, well done! Loving the cards there. Sounds like a busy week for you, good luck with the prep. though I’m sure you don’t need it. Wishing you a lovely creative WOYWW, Angela x15x

  6. I love the 50th card, it’s quite spectacular and gold and black always look fabulous together. It’s been just the weather to be cosying in with some crafting hasn’t it, although we’ve woken up to sunshine here this morning so just off for a walk to blow the cobwebs away!
Hope you have a great week,

  7. Ooh, I do like the card, a lot – how smart for a Golden anniversary! The Christmas baubles made me smile, I think you should keep them up all year tbh…..it’s a bit like I never alter my car clock when the hour changes, 6 months later, it’ll all be ok again!!

  9. That golden card looks beautiful! I love to see scissors and glasses on a desk, means there’s something (fun!) happening there. We have stormy days overhere in the Netherlands too… stay straight Margaret, don’t get blown away. Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland. Marit #19

  12. Wish we lived closer and could pop into Service on Sunday. One of these days!! Seems a long time since we were in Llandudno so I think as soon as the weather gets better it will have to have a visit.
Well, as usual you have been busy. The Gold card looks lovely and you have several of those to make you say – good luck – will it be a production line?
I see you have some Ozzie calligraphy on your desk – that is lovely – and a reminder of a little friend who came to stay.
I thought the cup of chocolate was full so it just shows how lovely and rich it was as you drank it down and it stuck on the sides. Mmmmm….

  15. Hi Margaret! You are obviously a “night owl” – I am fast asleep at 11:30 at night! I can’t do anything at night, it’s when I make all my mistakes. Morning or early afternoon is my time! You certainly have been very busy! I see the Christmas Balls are still hanging around! Beautiful 50th Anniversary card! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #26

  17. Love the creativity going on! While our weather is so rainy I, too, have a mug of hot chocolate but it’s by my computer. I rarely have drinks on my work desk. Looking forward to seeing your jumper! Thanks for popping by! Have a wonderful week!

  18. Love the black and gold 50th card… Yummy – hot chocolate – just thinking about it makes me want one. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week. With love and God Bless. Caro x (#17)

  19. Well, of course I like to be an influence, but would prefer it to be over something slightly more glamorous than leaving scissors and glasses strewn around!! How funny. I say, the Golden Wedding card is lovely, what a great gift that will be.. What a nice bunch of occasions that you have to make cards for. All that and Pergamano making too..where do you magic up the time. Am sure the Worship will go well, hope you’re buoyed up by it and not over doing it my girl.

  20. Hello Margaret. How nice of you to pop by. I do so like the 50th card, I often indulge in a hot chocolate when crafting! So comforting on a cold afternoon, Take care. Hugs Anne x #13

  23. One can never have too many pairs of scissors, not so sure about specs as they cost far to much. Love the black and gold 50th card. Good luck in your preparation for Worship Leader on Sunday. Not participating this week. Craftyani.
