Hello my friends. I’m so pleased to say that google played fair this past week and I was able to visit and comment on almost everyone’s blogs. Yay!! It felt so good.
I have had two desks this week, as I have had two very different projects on the go. The leader of our Step Inside team asked me if I could come up with a card we could put on the tables this week for Valentine Day. So, I sat down and played a bit, coming up with three ideas – then on Monday four of us got together and made 18 cards – one for each table. Inside there is a verse “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life” – God’s love letter to each one of us

As you can see we had a load of fun, then all shared lunch together before going our separate ways.
My second desk has been the settee (yes, folks, I am still taking life easier than normal. I tried the car last weekend, but definitely my body wasn’t ready for driving – I shall try again this weekend) My houseguests and I have been spending lots of time enjoying the tv, whilst I have been making inroads into the jumper I started last week. It’s growing! But it takes a whole evening to do one row!!! However, that row consists of 8 or 9 individual blocks of 24 rows each… It’s going to take some time, but I’m getting there…

Sorry about the state of the dark corner, but I felt the colours showed more true in this photo than the others I took.
So that’s me this week folks. I’m writing this early Tuesday evening so that I can sit down later and watch the Great British Sewing Bee. I can’t ever imagine doing sewing under such pressure as these folk do. I don’t think it would do my hard earned blood pressure any good at all.
Take care, my friends.
God bless.
Margaret
Morning Margaret, love the cards you and your friends made! The jumper is coming on really well. I’m not surprised it takes you an evening to knit one row. Keep taking it easy and hope you are feeling more up to driving again soon. Sarah #?
Wow, that jumper is going to be gorgeous – and SO snuggly!! Knitting is like magic – take a coloured thread, lots of clackety-clack, and a garment gradually appears – wow!
Happy Wednesday xx
Gorgeous cards, and loving that jumper! I watched the Bee too, love it – can barely thread a needle, but it’s great telly! Helen #?

Lovely cards, I have been given the task for place and menu cards for International Women’s Day so need to get cap on and into gear. The jumper is coming along fine, and will be ready for next year. Haha. Continue to take it easy recovery is slow. Ani.
Your cards are beautiful and what a lovely idea. I’m so impressed with the jumper, I can’t even begin to figure out how you get the knitting to go in different directions but it’s very clever and very effective. I just noticed your stunning butterfly on the previous post – wow, it’s gorgeous, so glad I didn’t miss it.
Like your friends did, we had to send our computer away but the worst part was installing everything for days afterwards, recovering back up files and even setting preferences along tool bars and in programmes such as Photoshop – it really was time consuming. Thank you so much for the visit to mine, I hope you have a great week,
Diana xx
Love the cards and your jumper is looking amazing…You have so much patience. Good to hear you’re still being sensible, getting plenty of rest and listening to your body.

Thank you for your visit last week, sorry I never managed to get back to you, I have had to balance my laptop on my knees which is never easy.
Love that jumper – I had a friend who used to knit baby blankets using that pattern – it is so beautiful, well worth all the trouble.
Keep up the good work and keep resting

That’s a great jumper but I appreciate how long it takes to do that pattern – it’ll be worth it though and I suppose is keeping you entertained, lol!! I enjoyed the Sewing Bee programme last night and thought the young black woman was amazing!!

Those lovely little, joyfull cards look amazing, I can imagine you had fun making them together – being surrounded by nice people and creating together is the best thing there is! And what a task, to knit a jumper in this technique. I am amazed that you even can watch telly while knitting – it looks so complicated I think I’d have to look at my knitting all the time… Hope you feel better every new day! Thanks for your blogvisit last week, have a great weekend. Marit #17
Hi Margaret, sorry for the late visit. The cards you made are lovely, and I am truly in awe of the jumper you are knitting. I never even managed to finish a scarf! Have a lovely week Heather x #23
the cards are beautiful, Margaret! Loving that jumper. What an interesting pattern. Could never master knitting. I could get the hang of it if I wanted, just too many other things that call to me more. Go you on completing just a precious gift for John. I’m sure he appreciated the dedication you put into the project. Thank you for the stop by. Always a pleasure. Continue to take it easy.. Creative Blessings! Kelly #2`
