Hello my friends. Yes, I hold my hand up – I’ve been missing yet again! I did put together a post a couple of weeks ago, only to find I couldn’t add the photo… so had to give up. I’m trying again – and who knows whether there will be a photo today! Much has been happening on my desk, though. Cards made, two cardigans knitted, a blanket for a single bed finished this Tuesday evening, a day out in the mountains with John, our holiday with the family, and much gardening.
The cards I’ve made have mostly been for birthdays – but one or two were for Christmas challenges – which I couldn’t enter as I couldn’t add photos!! Oh well, there we go
I really must tell you what happened today. This afternoon, as you do, we popped into Llandudno to go to the bank and Asda…. and who should we meet walking down Mostyn Street (the main street in the town) but our very own Neet and her hubby. I was trying to help John on his scooter, fight his way through the crowds of people rushing along the pavement when I heard a voice say “Are you not going to say hello then?” – and there she was. It was SO lovely to chat for a few minutes and meet hubby. Hope you got home safely, Neet after your time away!
Well, would you believe it! No problem at all today – so I have no idea what I’ve been doing wrong for the past three weeks! These are just a few snaps from our “workdesk” the other day… A drive down into Snowdonia through the mountains – top left is the Snowdon horseshoe – then down to Beddgelert and a walk along the riverside (I walked, John tried his mobility scooter for the first time since coming out of hospital). The sun shone, the sky was cloudless, it was apparently the hottest place in Britain that afternoon!! From there we went down to Porthmadog to have lunch in the café on the Ffestiniog railway station, then drove home via Caernarfon and a tiny village called Llanllyfni where my great uncle was the minister 100years ago. Unfortunately the church was closed so we couldn’t get inside to see any records they hold – another day!
Well, that’s it for this week, my friends. I do trust you are well, and enjoying the beginnings of Spring here in the Northern hemisphere. I will do my best to get round to everyone – but it may well take a few days, as I need to be out in the garden whenever the sun shines for long enough to dry the borders – it’s commonly called “jungle clearance” as I didn’t do anything in the autumn!!!
Take care. God bless you.
Margaret

It was lovely to see you both – shame it was cold and windy so that John had to push off out of the wind. Hopefully next time it will be nicer weather – and a Thursday! My word you have been busy, so much crafting and such a varied array of it too. Sorry I only made it brief on my blog but I was so tired and had to do it late Tuesday. Blessings, Neet 3 ps your day out took in some of y favourite places – Beddgelert and Porthmadog and on to Caernarfon. Lovely.

Super photos, glad you were able to add them today. Blogging can be a right pickle sometimes. My son’s driving lessons are fine and he has driven me around quite a bit too. His theory test is booked for July and hopefully the practical soon after. The sunflower is sprouting its next set of leaves and will soon have outgrown the CD case!. Thanks for visiting me yesterday, BJ#32

that is so fun that you live close enough together that you run into online friends in person. I had left some of my dead heading deliberately so the birds could fight over it for nesting, but I am going to clean it up as soon as it warms up again here. we are having tease you with sunshine while you are at work and freeze your fingers off cold wind when you get home stuff. soon soon we will all be wishing it wasn’t so hot again so, I am trying to enjoy it all. thanks for the earlier visit, ~Stacy #55

Fab pics from your mobile workdesk! Looks like you had great weather. We got married at Plas Brondanw Gardens not far from Porthmadog and it was a wonderful sunny April day. Had a hectic day wet-felting loads of new background pieces so just dropping in for a quick snoop! Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier. Happy crafting, Max #37 🙂
